Just like you, I’m your everyday woman over 40 who has tried all the diets. Looking to connect with others and share what has worked and what has not for getting healthy.
My Story
Many of us focus on losing weight and getting skinny again. I plan to work on my health. I want good numbers, I want to not have to take a bunch of pills daily, I want to be physically able to care for myself and get around on my own. Some things I will be doing will bring some muscle and possibly some slimming down, but mostly I am working on being healthy. See you on the journey!
What I can do for you
I am here to share with you what I’ve learned over the years that helps me to live a better, and a more healthy life.
I believe a healthy life includes your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Sometimes one area is stronger, and healthier, while one of the others is weaker. But all the time, we should be working on these four areas of our lives to be fully healthy. I do not want to be a sickly older person. I know that some things are out of our control, and it could happen. I am focusing on the things we can control to keep us healthy. I have learned that some women are predisposed to certain illnesses due to heredity. But I do know most health issues can be managed and/or prevented when we actively seek to be healthy.
